Stan Drobac, Vice President of Business Development

Stan Drobac comes to Omni-ID with deep technology and RFID experience. As an independent consultant, he primarily developed RFID technology and business strategies for large companies, worked with technology startups to focus and position their capabilities, and supported companies and investors in partnering, financing, and M&A activities.

From 2001-2007, Drobac led the development of Avery Dennison's RFID program. He defined the company's strategy, built the initial team, and led the identification and acquisition of new RFID-related technologies and companies. He also was an active contributor to the development of the MIT Auto-ID Center and the RFID IP Consortium. Drobac also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Alien Technology. Additionally, he held key senior technical, marketing and operational management roles at Flextronics, nCHIP, Advanced Micro Devices, Fairchild Semiconductor, and Honeywell Information Systems.

Drobac earned an MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration at Harvard and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
