George E. Daddis, Jr, PhD
President & CEO
George is an experienced CEO & entrepreneur, having founded two successful technology companies. He has extensive experience in building companies, raising capital, and establishing markets for digital and IT technologies.
After receiving his B.S., M.S., and PhD. Degrees from Cornell University in Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics, George began his engineering and management career at Eastman Kodak and subsequently Xerox, building engineering teams for various imaging product lines. These teams focused on quick time-to-market deliveries and “best in class” performance and cost digital product platforms.
In 1998, George founded his first company, InSciTek Microsystems Inc. that provided digital hardware and software design services to Fortune 500 companies such as Sharp Electronics, GE, Kodak, and many other technology companies in the US. In 2003, Allworx Corp was founded from the core of InSciTek and quickly established itself as a national provider of small business VoIP telephone systems – a comprehensive technology firm including R&D, manufacturing, marketing/sales, and customer support functions.
George aggressively grew this VC-backed business to over 75,000 end users with a sales channel of over 900+ dealers throughout North America. In 2007, George successfully sold Allworx Corp to PAETEC, a major national telephone services company headquartered in Rochester, NY.
Prior to joining Omni-ID in 2011, George served as CEO at WorldGate Communications, a publicly-held video telephony firm in Philadelphia.
Chief Financial Officer
Mag Saba is Omni-ID’s Chief Financial Officer. Mag is a seasoned Finance executive and corporate officer with a demonstrated background in corporate strategy, financial management, and increasing shareholder value. He brings extensive global experience combining Corporate and international assignments as CFO, and organizational leader in both public company and private equity environments. Mag also brings hands-on experience with raising capital, M&A, and IPO processes.
Over his career Mag has also demonstrated effective leadership in building high performing organizations; establishing strong financial disciplines; and implementing strategic plans and ROI-guided business strategies that have led to the acceleration of growth and profits.
Mag spent time in the heavy equipment, and entertainment industries, followed by several Executive roles at Fortune 500 Bausch & Lomb Inc. He held CFO positions for their Asia-Pacific, and “America’s” Divisions, followed by an executive Corporate role as the company’s Vice President – Corporate Finance. In this corporate role Mag was integral to B&L as it transitioned from being publicly traded to private equity through an acquisition by Warburg Pincus. Several years later, in its efforts to return to the public markets, he was key to the company’s IPO process up to “S1” approvals, analyst meetings, and ultimately the “road show”. A merger between B&L and Valeant Pharmaceuticals was the chosen path, following which Mag became integral to the integration of both corporations.
Most recently Mag was CFO of American Aerogel Corporation, a leading provider of thermal insulation solutions to the temperature-controlled segment of the bio-pharmaceuticals industry.
Mag holds a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and is a certified CPA and CGA.
Chief Operating Officer
Tony Kington brings more than 17 years of senior operational experience to Omni-ID from a wide variety of product-based sales and business development positions in the nuclear, print, chemical, and technology industries. As Omni-ID’s Managing Director, Europe, Kington oversees the company’s global Supply Chain, which includes manufacturing, distribution, and customer service. He also manages Omni-ID’s major facility in the UK.
Kington joined QinetiQ, Ltd. in 2004 to direct the initial development of the company’s RFID efforts, which led to the formation of Omni-ID. Previously, he worked in several capacities at BASF Printing Systems. He served simultaneously as General Manager and Sales and Marketing Director with a territory encompassing the UK and Ireland. As General Manager, Kington was responsible for manufacturing and worldwide distribution of BASF Printing Systems oil-based inks business, representing revenues of over $80 million globally. Kington was Operations Director at Polestar Purnell, the UK’s largest publication printing and finishing facility.
Chief Solutions Officer
Ed Nabrotzky (B.Sc., M.B.A.) is a technology business leader and entrepreneur, with almost 20 years of global experience leading developing businesses and product lines.
In 1998 he relocated his family to Germany to lead a strategic start-up operation for a privately held technology company, serving first as managing director then as Vice-President, European Operations. He drove dramatic revenue growth for the company in the region, building a development and support organization and recruiting a new European distribution channel to grow negligible sales to $15M in just over 2 years. Initiating and completing a strategic acquisition in France, he returned to North America to take a broader role in the central leadership of the company, eventually participating in the small executive team that sold the company to Molex, a multi-billion dollar revenue global connectivity leader.
As an executive with Molex he managed sales, engineering and marketing initiatives across North America, Europe and Asia. His primary focus was driving global teams in developing new communications software and electronics products for automation and robotics. As a frequent speaker at global industry events and author of several technical articles in trade publications, he is a recognized leader in plant floor networking and the inventor or co-inventor on 4 individual patents, spanning innovations from electrical diagnostics and communications to auto-identification technology.
In 2009 he left Molex to develop a new generation of visual auto-id systems, starting his own technology company, Dynamic e-Horizons Inc. (DEH). In August of 2011, the primary assets of DEH were acquired by Omni-ID as part of the strategic pivot towards enhanced systems capability and innovation.
Vice President of Sales
John F. Kelly is Omni-ID’s Senior Vice President of Sales. John has over 27 years’ experience in technology sales and extensive management experience at both large and small software companies. John joined Omni-ID from Revitas where he was SVP of Global Sales. Early in his career at Oracle Corporation John started as a sales rep and eventually became AVP of Strategic Accounts. He has worked in various senior management roles at Siebel Systems, JDA Software and SunGard leading strategy and executing effective sales plans to achieve results. John has an MBA from Boston College and an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Buffalo.
Vice President Marketing
Ms. Gay currently serves as the VP of Marketing for Omni-ID. Over the past 20 years, she has led the commercial marketing strategy and teams for a variety of leading telecommunications and technology industry companies including Frontier Communications, WorldGate Communications and managing the cloud solutions launch programs for PAETEC Communications. In addition, Tracy has also served as a VP Marketing for Citibank Student Loans with programs generating more than $170 MM in revenues, and as the Investor Relations lead for Frontier Corporation & Mpower Communications including all communications, M&A activities and a variety of debt and equity offerings. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina.
With over 30 years’ experience in a range of technical and management positions Charles has always been involved in engineering and technology where his organisational skills have been used in a range of operational roles.
Initially working in the field of gas turbine research Charles was involved in full scale jet engine tests and eventually turbine blade cooling R&D. From there, Charles moved into system development and program management running multi-discipline teams and major projects for a number of software companies. Prior to the start-up of Omni-ID Charles was operations manager for QinetiQ’s metal-printing technology managing the group’s print facilities and project portfolio, from which Omni-ID was ultimately spawned.
As a co-founder of Omni-ID, Charles was instrumental in developing Omni-ID’s early production capability and establishing company processes. Charles now runs Omni-ID’s operations group responsible for global order fulfilment.
Charles has a Bachelors and a Master of Philosophy degree in engineering from Imperial College London and is a Chartered IT professional.
General Manager and Quality Director
Dave Hewett brings more than 15 years of international Quality & Manufacturing experience to Omni-ID with experience working in the UK, Europe, China, Korea and Japan, in a variety of Operations, Engineering and Quality roles in the field of Satellite, Aerospace, Marine, and High Science & Technology industries. Dave also carries a strong background in Manufacturing, Injection Molding, Wire bonding, labelling and Electronics manufacturing. As Omni-ID’s Quality and Manufacturing Director, Dave is responsible for Quality and Manufacturing and maintaining Omni-ID’s Quality Assurance for their entire range of Passive, Active & View Tags.
Dave joined Omni-ID in January 2009 to drive and develop the company’s commitment to Quality, with responsibilities for Omni-ID’s Quality Management System and Manufacturing including: New Product Introduction, Product Validation Process, Approval to Manufacture Process, Test Engineering, Supply Chain Management.
Previously Dave was Manufacturing Manager at Raymarine and Account Manager for outsourcing the Manufacturing & Supply Chain into Western Hungary.
Managing Director, Omni-ID China
Johnny Wang proven experience in variety of Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain development in refrigeration, communication and technology industries, which enable him to effectively led Omni-ID operations in China. He also is responsible for business development and sales in China.
Prior to joining Omni-ID in August 2009, Johnny served as site leader for Wabco Vehicle Control System, a leading manufacturer and marketer of vehicle safety control system, responsible for P&L management of one major Wabco China facility, representing revenue of over $40 million regionally. Johnny was Operations Director at Pentair Enclosure China, the US largest sheet metal manufacturing facility, and senior supply chain manager in Carrier Group.
